Grass Roots Rescue is an all-volunteer organization that is consistently growing, and we need all the help we can get! We have many different opportunities available and are seeking animal-lovers like YOU that can help our organization continue to flourish and save more lives!

Opportunities currently available include:

​

  • Fostering: Fostering a homeless animal is extraordinarily rewarding! You simply provide the shelter and love, and we will provide everything else, including supplies and veterinary costs. Click here to fill out our foster application.
     

  • Transport: Assisting with transportation involves picking up animals from open-intake shelters (most often BARCS in Baltimore, ACCT in Philadelphia or early Saturday morning transport from Christiana Mall to Sussex County for dogs that are coming from our shelter partner in NC) and transporting them to the vet or a foster home. Transport can also include picking up and dropping off donations.
     

  • Helping with Adoption and Fundraising Events: We always need help with setting up and running events.
